Lex Kloosterman new member of the Supervisory Board of Achmea Bank

Lex Kloosterman has been officially appointed as member of the Supervisory Board of Achmea Bank as of today.

Lex Kloosterman has extensive experience in executive and supervisory roles in the financial sector. After graduating from Leiden University with a law degree, he held successive roles at ABN AMRO, Fortis and Rabobank. Kloosterman is a member of the Supervisory Board of Achmea B.V., as well as Achmea Schadeverzekeringen N.V. and Achmea Pensioen- en Levensverzekeringen N.V. He is also member of the board at Stichting AGRI3 and Investor Director of Cerberus Global Investments B.V.

The appointment of Lex Kloosterman is for a period of four years and has been approved by the Dutch Central Bank. The Supervisory Board of Achmea Bank now consists of: Huub Arendse (chairman), Miriam van Dongen, Lex Kloosterman, Daphne de Kluis and Hans Snijders.
