Miriam van Dongen appointed as supervisory director at Achmea Bank

Miriam van Dongen has been appointed as a member of the Supervisory Board of Achmea Bank as of 21 December 2020. She will succeed Jan Molenaar, who cannot be reappointed after his third term. as a member of the Supervisory Board of Achmea


Miriam van Dongen has extensive experience in the financial sector. As a professional supervisory director she has been associated with PGGM, Optiver and, since this spring, also with Achmea B.V. Miriam van Dongen studied Business Economics at Tilburg University.

Miriam van Dongen's appointment is for a period of four years and has been approved by De Nederlandsche Bank. The current members of Achmea Bank’s Supervisory Board are: Huub Arendse (chairman), Henny te Beest, Miriam van Dongen and Robert Otto.
